About me
Malyn is the Temporary Applied Sciences Librarian at Western Michigan University, holding an MLIS from Wayne State and an English BA from Albion College. After beginning in law school, they traded litigation for literacy following a work-study position in Drexel’s legal library. They bring several years of public librarianship experience across multiple service areas, with a particular commitment to print and low-vision accessibility as a means of advancing equitable access. In their spare time, they enjoy practicing piano, sending letters sealed with wax, and rock hunting along Michigan’s coastline.
